Six Snowflakes from Michael

Six rimed snowflakes.
Dihedral symmetry rotates,
reflects,
the quest of six decades,

the rest this ancient raven soul seeks,
exhaling frost scrolls at the sight of the Bethlehem star

hovering above everything that remains new and pure in the human spirit.

Equilateral,

equiangular,

all geometries being equal,

this aging child smiles his woodsmoke curl in the face of the advancing dark.

"It's all right,"

he whispers to himself,

as he begins to disappear.

"It's just a spell of frost.

Six snowflakes.

Melt, disappear, as you return to the Sun."

Let us roll all our strength, and all of our sweetness, into one ball;  and tear our pleasures with one strife through the iron gates of life.

Heaven and Earth, Awake and Sing

Your voice rose. It was in front of me, and behind me. It was above me and below me. It was on every side. And then my voice rose with your's and for a moment we were one voice. A moment later, 5000 were on their feet, arisen by the music.
